Max G. Gifford

Max creates and manages custom financial plans that maximize the potential of each of his client’s financial situations. He enjoys working with individuals who want to learn more about their finances and specializes with those in the medical and dental fields. Max serves as a financial coach to help align his clients’ goals with their money while using proven strategies to improve their financial picture.

Max is the son of Marshall Gifford, CLU, ChFC, the founder of Gifford Financial, a division of North Star Resource Group. As Max grew up watching his father leave a lasting positive impact on his clients’ lives, he was determined to one day do the same. Upon his graduation from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in finance, he joined Gifford Financial as a financial advisor.

Max has successfully completed the CSLP® program and is a Certified Student Loan Professional. As a member of the Gifford Financial team, he leverages decades of experience in the field along with a proven track record of success offering strong financial strategies to every client. He recently appeared on KSTP as a featured financial advisor where he was asked to share his expertise.

Max continues to reside in his hometown of St. Paul, MN. Outside of the office, you can usually find him enjoying the outdoors—biking, running, wake surfing, or skiing. He also loves spending time with his friends and family.
